Punjabi singer Ar Net, famous singer Gurlez Akhtar, and controversial actor-model Bhana Sidhu will appear before the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police on Friday. This hearing is related to the controversial song ‘315.’

The complaint was filed by Arvind Singh, Deputy Convenor of BJP Punjab Trade Cell. Sources reveal that all three have been summoned to the Jalandhar Police Commissioner’s office, where they will be questioned about the song’s lyrics and video.

Complaint Filed Over Weapon Display in Song
The 3-minute, 7-second song features Bhana Sidhu holding weapons. Its lyrics reference “1980 di jammi 315,” alluding to a 1980-model gun. The song has already garnered over 4 million views on YouTube.
Ar Net is popular among youth, but his songs have often stirred controversy. Nearly 11 months ago, he allegedly received ransom calls from gangsters demanding ₹1 crore. The threats were made under the names of terrorists Rinda and Lawrence, originating from a UK number.

Complaint Filed by BJP Leader Arvind Sharma
Recently, BJP leader Arvind Singh sent an official complaint to Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav. He demanded strict action against songs promoting violence, illegal weapons, and crime in Punjab. He stated that ‘315’ violates the state’s code of conduct, misleads youth, and threatens law and order.
Interestingly, Ar Net’s hit song “Tere Yaar Nu Dabb Nu Firda Si, Bar Dabda Kithe Aa” has been used in election campaigns by Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and AAP leaders. After today’s hearing, police will decide their next course of action.
